SERVED

Over the past 25 years, World of Children has built an impressive community of Changemakers consisting of more than 130 organizations dedicated to changing the outcomes for vulnerable children and whose work can be guaranteed.

Each member is an official charity or nonprofit organization that has been registered for a minimum of 10 years, collects and shares data to measure their impact, uses their assets efficiently (minimally meeting the 80:20 ratio) and focuses entirely on helping children.

These Changemakers lead high-impact programs in fields of Health, Education, Protection, Crisis Response and Humanitarianism and have undergone rigorous independent investigations.  World of Children seeks out only the most effective organizations with incredible outcomes for children worldwide to be on offer for donor support.

AWARDS
FOR
CHANGE

Our Awards for Change unlock a brighter future for vulnerable children.

Here's how they work.

Awards for Change

Health

Health Awards are offered to Changemakers addressing the needs of children in the fields of health, medicine, or the sciences.

These funds are given to achieve measurable accomplishments in areas such as cancer, burn injuries, heart failure and defects, dentistry, and overall healthcare.

Humanitarian

The Humanitarian Awards support Changemakers making extraordinary contributions to children through social or humanitarian services.

Our Humanitarian Awards are changing the lives of vulnerable children by providing basic needs like food, shelter, access to medical care, and an improved quality of life.

Protection

Battling the global issues of sexual abuse, trafficking, incest and exploitation, the Protection Awards fund Changemakers that are supporting children with the opportunity to live a life free from fear, abuse, and exploitation.

Our Protection Awards are given to provide a holistic support system giving children the care they need to repair long-lasting physical and psychological trauma.

World of Children Awards for Change

Youth

These funds help support and empower our next generation of humanitarian leaders, recognizing individuals 21 years old or younger who have founded or co-founded a nonprofit organization to advocate for important causes, create innovative models of service and inspire their peers and community to help other youth.

Crisis

The Crisis Award recognizes Changemakers making extraordinary contributions to children affected by war, natural disasters, or other crises creating large cohorts of extremely vulnerable children. The Crisis Award allows World of Children and our community of donors to agilely respond to the needs of these children.

Education

The Education Award recognizes Changemakers making extraordinary contributions to children in the fields of education, literacy and learning. Winners of these Awards are supporting children in inner-city schools, remote towns and villages, or those living in war-torn countries with programs that nurture each student’s educational development, providing them with the confidence to become fully productive members of society
